What's the ruling now regarding players on loan playing against their parent club? We play Cas last game of season, is he allowed to play against us?

It would have to be a specific clause in the contract I think.

Not sure he is good enough for 1st team (yet?)

It does leave us with a hole in the team though, i thought Austin was one of our better players this year and always seemed to give his all.. Unless we get some decent halves then we could be looking at a worse squad than this year.. several others off contract. Losing walters, not sure on the french bloke who is his replacement.

They will say we are still rebuilding.... looks like the good old days are way behind us now and probably have to settle for mediocre/mid-table for a few years...

Maybe the club needs new owners to refresh things and move forward.

What a mess. He’s obviously got a rollocking and kicked his toys out of the cot. But this season is shaping up as being a really poor one. I think Cas stay up now. Wakey will be fuming.

If we don’t make big moves in the market now there’s serious serious questions needing answers to. This absolutely cannot happen again

It would seem clear to me that there has been a fallout between Austin and GH. RS has said that he didn’t know about the loan deal until after it was agreed overnight, though he approves of what has happened. He didn’t really have much option to say otherwise in the press though.

Almost impossible to get a replacement in now before the deadline. I’d guess it will be Myler (if the foot rumours aren’t true) and Sezer, with Sinfield/Johnson/Smith filling in.

Unless we are going to splash some cash for a half under contract then I don’t see many OOC players that I’d trust to turn our mid table side into contenders.

I’m pretty neutral on losing Austin overall. I personally wouldn’t have kept him past this year ideally anyway. He has a bit of the Brad Dwyer about him, tries hard, has moments of brilliance but doesn’t make the team better overall (Not that many people are in that category now!). But any player who wants to leave mid season can go for me!

Do we think GH will say anything ? If so will it be nonsense or jam tomorrow?

He has had his say, though quite why it's just being dressed up as a 'normal' request to move is another nail in this shambles.

Whatever way you look at it , yet again we are a shambles , how such a well run club a few y ears ago has turned in to this mess i will never know

Your coach has just done an interview on social media I have r to say it does not look great for the club, he has pretty much said this was done behind his back and he looked livid.

How can the coach not have the final say?

Just a theory , but has all this been done so Powell will be coach next year ?
