I just hope we get the version that went home in April & not the 2022 one.

I've no problems with him coming back.
I was disappointed to see him go but understood the reasons.
His family is now settled.
He is a rugby player who can't get a gig with his current team, so it's sensible for him to show what he can do elsewhere.

At the end of the day it's for less than 3 months.
Many of us - me included - have worked away from our families for 3 months.

Where's the issue?
