I’m sure I read an article from Phil Hay about the way the 49ers go about recruiting. Said they don’t like to panic but and rush into signings, like to do plenty of scouting first. I just wonder if that’s what the delay is plus getting grips with FFP. Tbh I can see some sense in that as to not make same mistakes as orta etc. but as you say Tad time is certainly ticking away !

Lot's of teams have been away on pre season tours, so deals will probably start to be done as teams start to return. There's still a month left of the transfer window, so plenty of deals to be done yet.
I think will bring in 2 more this week. I think one of them will be Byram.

I would be more than happy with Williams. Picked him out several weeks ago as a possibility and unfortunately Hjelde not kicked on and might be let go. Byram makes sense too as he can cover RB and LB . Hamer and Stewart would be good additions to the team too.

Nat Phillips still been linked
A sports reporter on twitter with about 400k followers (so seems legit) saying Nat Phillips meeting Leeds representatives tomorrow.. would be a solid signing for the right price. We’ve got to get the strikers sorted though as a matter of urgency.
