After 68 years of Insanity now is the time for radical thinking :D

Forest Green Rovers have done such in appointing Hannah Dingley as Head coach

Is a female head coach the answer for us?

What?.... You mean like appointing someone as a publicity stunt and then sacking them off a week later - that type of radical thinking? ...

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

The new coach would need proven ability in coaching top level men's game. It's not going to happen.

Imo we have to take another look at Saints, Wigan and Leeds and aim to replicate the processes used (whatever they may be) in their success. I think we'll need to be patient though as this isn't a quick fix.

That isn't what happened. She was caretaker and didn't apply for the role full time. https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... oint-coach

Not that I am advocating for or against a female coach.

The thought of how many eyes will come across Warringtons social media should we appoint a female coach will get KFP very giddy. He’ll be so giddy that he’ll not cotton on to who the bug-eyed, deep voiced Yorkshire lass in the dodgy wig sporting a five o’clock shadow, haphazard lipstick and guilty look really is. Brianna Noble will be appointed whatever her demands.

Ettinghausen's gone ice skatin'

Oh, I know that's what happened, but the whole 'female coach' thing was milked for all the publicity it could get, even though the club themselves knew it was a very temporary appointment - it definitely wasn't the radical thinking that Superblue seems to think it was.

Shouldnt it always be the best person for the job? I know thats a bit taboo these days as diversity and inclusivity seems to be more important than giving the most suitable person the job.

Well yes it should be, but how many women attempt to even interview for the HC position in mens sport? Likely non. Can't evwn have them commentating without some mard ars boomer whining they're ruining everything.
