We don’t know what the club has up their sleeves. Few names beginning to pop up and they’ve all been class potential signings. Clubs obviously aiming for quality quota players which might mean a few misses but if we bag 1-2 coups we are laughing.

I wonder how the change of coach might affect their squad. Hopefully a few players becoming available. They would be scary if Holbrook went there

I wouldn't be against Hoy and Trueman in the halves. Tex looked good against Saints and after all, he was initially brought over to play in the halves.

I'm sure the club will have other targets though if Clune heads elswhere.

“I imagine a few signings already in the bag and he will be pushing for players who fit the bill .”

Now on page 339, no actual news. Lots of speculation without any evidence to support it.I

So what and why is a Hull FC board and thread of such great interest to you?

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

What evidence is there to suggest we’re on a ‘cost cutting exercise’? We’ve just signed a head coach as an assistant and have the most experienced coach in the league, alongside brand new facilities this year. It’s a myth.

Odd that he disappeared after the derby loss but returned with all guns blazing after the cup win.

Purely coincidental of course.

Not forgetting that I doubt that Riding & Shenton come cheap either nor Davidson for that matter.

As mentioned above, should we fail to sign a half, Hoy and Trueman isn't a terrible partnership for 'worst case scenario' for next season. But bringing in a half would certainly be preferable.

Plenty of talk of cost cutting which may be true to a degree but when you consider we were offering treble of Cliffords current deal (which you would assume he wasn't exactly on penny's in the first place) then there must be money there to be spent, TS will be looking to ensure he spends it on the right players which we must trust he will do so.

Cost cutting? Didn't we offer Clifford a raise? If that's cost cuting then we are bad at it.
