Briers - no thanks. A possibility after he's done something - learnt his trade, but I don't think he'd be right for us at the moment. I like the 'idea' of Michael Monaghan, but again what has he done? (I honestly don't know - not a criticism, just the limit of my knowledge). Great player but they dont always make grest coaches. Short term we need someone who could give players some self belief and get them playing as a team. I know many have said give the youngsters a chance but unlike those coming through at Saints and Wigan they would be coming in to a team in disarray, and unfortunately I'm not absolutely convinced they are good enough (although I do like Whitehead in particular).
