I know that emotions are running high, but try to post objectively and without any petty in-fighting…
In which direction do we head moving forward?
We’ve changed the coach again, we’ve changed the players again, and still we are grossly underperforming year after year. We even changed the chairman a couple of years ago. What is the root cause and why is it so hard to influence change?
It’s easy to continually blame coaches and players every time we have a ‘new era’, but the fact is that these coaches and players have proven records before they join, and often flourish once they leave. It’s the curse of joining this club that seems to instil mediocrity into every individual that signs up on the payroll.
Can we see where it’s going wrong? Is it the pressure, or is it just a poor culture of allowing a comfort-zone to exist from the top down? .

Ratchford, Currie, new contracts this year, show how everything is bad about the club. Not had a handful of good games between them in the last two years. Whoever is agreeing these contracts along with recruitment should see the door first, followed closely by DP.

For me we are spoilt with having 2 very rich owners who treat the club like their own personal toybox. Yes, I know they are fans, but reading the nonsense that us fans post on here, fans are the wrong people to be running the club.
We need a board who will run the club as a business, not as a plaything/vanity project.
We need a director of rugby who will oversee the playing staff from juniors through to first team, and we need a coach who won't play favourites and can fire the team up to run through brick walls for him.
And last but not least, we need players who not only want to win, but need to win to satisfy their own desire for success....at any cost.
But we haven't got any of this, and nothing will change, and we remain the joke of superleague.

Quote:Daryl Powell is the head coach which I have never agreed with from the start he has not got any man management skills he cannot obviously motivate a team!We have the players to perform
in SL. From top to bottom the coaching staff should do the honourable thing and resign on mass,as this club is sinking fast and top 6 will be a pipedream once again! Maybe mid table is beckoning at the best! I would make a move for Holbrook before anyone else gets there first, failing that Michael Monaghan would be my choice as he bleeds P&B. We are now in dire straights and the CEO should also go as he hired Powell and his cronies!

If I was a coach Warrington would be ideal. Lots of money, great facilities, absolutely no pressure (if you think about it), take us to a GF win and you’re a lifetime legend. You’re in a no lose situation. Don’t succeed and it’s down to us being a basket case win and you’re an immortal coaching genius.

Yeah but we have a CEO playing at it and meddling owners who have a say in who plays or not.
