As an aside to last night, we ran out of interchanges with ten minutes to go, Huddersfield have under performed all season but they’re stuck with Watson an spent a fortune. We’re in a far better place than we’ve been for the last 5 years, the home gates tell you that, noisy neighbours going to Wembley dream of 12,500 crowds for a game against Cas. We knew this year was another season of transition so why all the gnashing of teeth, and disgruntlement at the lack of news on signings. Satae is a plodder, last night proved that, Dwyer, phew, headless chicken, Clifford, can’t see the point in him going to NLQ, going to be a bit part player but he’ll be home with his family. Apart from him who are these best players leaving?
Swift is on a par with Clifford and a huge miss for the club, that said Clifford was quiet again last night but the others leaving Satae and Dwyer were dreadful.
Satae didnt take one carry last night whilst in motion, everyone from a standing start and thats down to the player..
Clifford again not taking the goal kicks.Just wonder if he is carrying an injury as his last two games by his standards have been below par.
With regard to this been a transition season,i would say next season is our transition season if Smith is still here
