Agree with Chris on this, I think it was before smith

Hopefully by the end of next season one of Lumb/Simpson/Tchamambe are ready to start playing a few games and take the place of 3rd winger

I don't know what all the drama is the way he can seamlessly slot into a number of positions is priceless he just hasn't had his chance to shine yet

it was never before smiths time. can't criticise him though

that's when it was announced, I seem to remember it being in the press way way earlier than that, maybe May/June last year?, I'm not saying it wasn't a smith signing I just questioned whether we knew that for sure.

Simpson would have played plenty this year if not for the unfortunate injury. Fingers crossed he can hit the ground running next year.
