who cares about finishing 6th in a league of 12.means your average.the whole league structure is a farce.the sooner we get back to having the team that finishes 1st being called the champions the better.

We have the right to complain at any time. We can't keep resetting the clock for convenience sake. This club has been underperforming for years now. The current squad is overall bang average and it's better players are set to leave. I honestly shudder at the thought of next season's group. This give whoever time mantra has worn thin with me, it's trotted out every season and lost any meaning.

What did you expect Smith to do with this group when appointed in late September?

It's not an expectation on Smith, it's on the club as a whole. The place stinks of mediocrity from top to bottom and I'm personally sick of it. However it appears many believe we should be grateful for just existing, with that mentality you'll never be disappointed.

I'm not sure many are happy with the last few seasons, o certainly aren't, the next few months are key for me, recruitment needs to be spot on and use our quota spots better and have a real go until the end of the season, not give up like previous seasons.
Still think it will take Smith two more seasons to get us potentially challenging again as been left an awful position bu previous coaches with recruitment and retention.

I'd definitely say Smith has it all on his plate so not to disappoint many on here who have lauded him as the answer to all our problems. I hope he can take us forward but I'm far from confident about that.

I don't think he does, not sure any club in SL has had two quota players who can't get into their 17, add in Shaul that's a big about of cap that aren't good enough for the side.
He has made mistakes and and will do so, but what coach doesn't.
I never thought we improved in two years under Hodgson and his recruitment was awful.
I think we have improved this season in alot of areas, certainly play much better rugby and seem slightly better mentally.
