literally the irony of a saints fan bemoaning tackling techniques that injure players when his club are the masters of this.......

the amount of dubious 3rd man in targeting legs for saints is unreal.

So looks like Wilkin has now back tracked on Walmsleys season being over and he's actually fine other than a slight knock?

Almost as if there was a massive over reaction...

No ban for either tackle, and Matautia gets more than Shorrocks.

Pass the tin foil hats around St Helens

Mata'utia gets more than Shorrocks due to his record.

No one has called for a ban either, but you've not even read the post have you. The technique involved is incredibly dangerous and malicious. Your reaction is entirely because it was on St Helens player and you like the fact Paasi might have to retire as it helps your team.

If those two tackles were by Morgan Knowles, Twitter would have melted and it would be a very different story.

You're being ridiculous.

"Player makes legitimate initial contact with upper thigh of opponent who is moving forward."

He's tackled him legitimately around the legs. It was a perfectly executed tackle to take down a very big man charging at the line.

Nobody likes players to get hurt but you can't punish good defense just because an injury occurs.

Huge over reaction from some, correct outcome from the disciplinary.

Knowles was an illegal tackle (s)
Leigh player a legal tackle
Thats easy to understand.
And no one wants a player injured only the sad ones do.

Well as Asiata was cited 3 times for the same type of tackle and received NFA on all 3 it means the tackle is okay. As it's a effective way of bringing down a big forward it will be copied. Expect a few more players to be out for the season from now on.

How can they possibly know already?

Literally making things up.

It’s really sad.
