Mind you if we lost I’d have to listen to that guy saying ‘ he only signs his mates ‘ and ‘ we’ll never win owt with him in charge’ on repeat.

Now that would be good fun. Lol!

Greg Florimos Boots wrote:There are a handful of fans on both sides of the argument that are embarassing themselves. The question is though, why can't the fans who are of the opinion that we need a new coach celebrate the fact that we are going to Wembley? They have been, and will be, here long after this set of players and coaches have come and gone.

Theres a group of us that went to every game in 2003 and a lot of us were of the opinion that is was time for a change but we are not fans and should stay away? Brilliant.

First a question. Are you "The Blues Ox" poster on Total?

"Why can't you celebrate" you can but don't ask me how you can when your support for everyone who got us there as been zero and when Listenup pointed out that many within the club thought this forum should be shut down precisely because of the negative affect it was having, you replied something like "If they don't want to hear it then don't come on here."

So it's okay to tell others to stay away then is it?

They don't have the right to defend the club but you have the right to attack it?

You even claimed to be paying their wages as if you can buy the right to slag people off when any ones admission price, ticket or whatever actually entitles the person entry into the ground on match day and that's it.

Forums are free of charge and it's down to the discretion of those using them as to what they say which in your case as been clearly undeniably negative where Grix has been concerned, as part of your side of the argument you expect the highest standards and achievements from the coaching staff but demonstrate the lowest standards in your false, exaggerated contradictory comments about him.

Actually you have highlighted where part of your problem lies by mentioning 2003 which is living in the past (which both me and mine went to every game as well.)

However what anyone did back in 2003 or any other historical period of the game or the club was experienced and applied back then, for the good and the bad back then and has no bearing or credit value for 2023.

You also mentioned a group of you from back then in 2003 and that's the part of the problem.

That's precisely where you have been living, in a group of old fashioned rugby league fans many who have never played the game at any level or if and when they did it was back in the 70's / 80's with a terrace / tap room / armchair view and understanding of the game and have no idea of anything outside those areas all feeding off the same limited outdated diet as one another.

It all reminds me of one of these DIY construction topic forums where you have these guys come on giving out advice on say basic plumbing or electrics, they've never been qualified in any of it but they've watched a couple of videos or bought an out of date book that they've been reading for the past 40 years and start giving the advice as if their some informed guru level genius, but then I suppose some will do and say anything for a few "Like" clicks from their peers.

Back to your question on celebrating and wanting a change of coach it's simple.

Based on 2023 for the coach he's the one who has got us there so why should he have to go and but you can stay?

You haven't got us there and if you haven't put anything in how can you get something out?

You want to share and to be part of the good times but don't want to share and be part of the hard times of the same season?

Hudd-Shay wrote:Welcome back. I presume after yesterday's result you'll be jumping on the bandwagon and be off to Wembley? Lol!

I wouldn't shout too loud about anything if I were you Hudds because any new incoming coach in the modern game will likely be using DR in one form or another and we all know, regardless of anything else what your assessment of him will be then don't we.
"Watch this space guys for when it happens."

Regarding Grix, DR and leaving.

Grix says he's leaving and will do and prove true to his words.

You've said you would leave the club because of DR and haven't done or proved true your words.

And on the subject of Grix. It's no coincidence that Fax gave their most resilient performance of the season after he's announced he's leaving, so if anything last night's fantastic win condones the decision to change things. I get the feeling that a status quo would most likely have led to a defeat! This week has been like a breath of fresh air after a fairly bland season and I feel more optimistic about the future. That's still my opinion and I'm not apologising for it!

100% my feelings too.

Well you either need glasses or to do more reading then Tony of what others have said.

Also, I mean, lets move to Siddal or Ovenden.

Or too much emphasis on a training malarkey and we should do what Ronnie O'Sullivan does  When the facts are, it's the training and fitness levels that have won us several games when being down to 12 or even 11 men. :!:

Ronaldo and Messi  So skilful that they don't have to train.

Both of them train their socks off, Ronaldo trains 5 days a week with 2 days off for recovery using the most up to date training and nutrient programs, have you ever done any serious weight training, apart from skill drills you don't get a body like that from going to the pub or sitting on your butt.

Appoint Alex Murphy as coach.

Sorry Tony but I can't take any of your comments seriously and view then as tongue in cheek, which they will be when your kissing Greg Fantasy Boots ar#se.

If any future coach uses Dr I would indeed disagree with him wholeheartedly. It would be wrong. You are indeed correct, for once, in quoting me re stopping support for the club due to dr. I tried it but I couldn't keep away. Now, IMG might just be the thing that finally drives me away. We will see. Up The Fax!

Well, some rant you're on today, faxcar, and I must admit I gave up reading one of your earlier posts after the first couple of sentences 'cos it went on FAR too long and those aforementioned sentences nearly sent me to sleep to be honest. No offence!

This forum, along with the Facebook forum, is very much becoming a place where you are only welcome if you toe the party line, and if you are not one of the happy clappers then woe betide!!

We all want the best for our team, but we are all entitled to our own opinion on what that may be.
