Personally I thought we made a mistake appointing him, I probably said it at the time if anyone can be rsed to go back through my posts and you are right, I imagine this isn't the first time that I have thought or said that I think we need a change. But so what? It's not like I take great delight in him failing, I want to watch the best version of Fax that I think is possible, its just that I am of the opinion that we can do a lot better than we are doing now and he has run his time at the club. Its hardly like people were staking out his house with banners calling for him to leave.

He is going to love Hull then if they don't do well.

From the Dewsbury site, reading the post from Coolie, it's not just Fax fans who thought we had underperformed or thought that Grix was a touch fortunate at times to keep his job as long as he did.

Yeah maybe you are right and getting interviewed live during a TV game with hundreds of thousands of viewers isn't really comparable to an interview for FaxTv. This must be some other Hull to the one that Ive known, he is going to have to develop a dam sight more thicker skin over there if we are saying that 15-30 people have forced him out of Fax(which I don't for one minute think is the case but some people on Facebook would have you believe it).

Looks like the Dewsbury fans love Liam Finn, and being a Fax lad he would be a perfect fit I suppose. Plus he's actually had head coach experience which counts for a lot. Cannot think of any other candidates at this stage. John Kear, even though I've always rated him, is too old and judging by his last couple of sackings at Bradford and Widnes might have lost his mo jo anyway. Maybe James Ford, who was once touted as a possible SL coach after doing well at York but I think he was sacked in the end so maybe not. Also he seems happy being out of the limelight ever since (assistant at Wakey, now backroom staff at fev). Don't know what Brian McDermott is doing at the mo.
Would like to see Widdop as a playing assistant. Not sure if he's really settled at Cas. I remember watching Cas - v Hull in the CC and Widdop threw out a pass which was intercepted ..... heard someone in the crowd shout "you're s**t Widdop". Big wow I hear you say, but little nuggets like that might tell a general ill feeling from the "volatile" cas folk who might think an ex-NRL-er is underperforming.

So managed to read it via privacy mode , basically one fan thinks we played crap against Batley which is obvious then you go on to say Liam Finn was the mastermind of last season not Grix . If ever there was an award for false narrative champion I think you would be lifting the Oscar pal .
