Personally think mick gledhill has taken great delight in being a sh*t stirring c**t so their hand was forced, we was supposed to be announcing another re -signing but obviously that little gimp ruined it - fuming

Maybe cos news has got out as it often does, Gledhill had already posted on social media. Possibility or rather probability is the club and players may have known for some time and were waiting for a suitable moment. But that won't suit the narrative of most on here.
Think its for the best for everyone how it has happened. Saves the board having to get rid of him, Grix can leave on his own terms, and gives us plenty of time to try and find the right man for the job. It wouldn't surprise me if we already had someone in the bag and its just been forced on us with the timing. It will give some of the players a boost for Saturday as well especially those that have been on the outer and think they may now have a future at the club.

I think the last Fax coach nobody moaned about was Chris Anderson. But even then folk weren't happy he displaced Colin Dixon. I'm sure the next in line will be revealed sooner rather than later before it's official, there's no escaping social media. Alex Murphy my choice. Now he knows a thing or 2 !
Probably no secret that he would eventually get a superleague assistant gig. Just look at Lingard. He deserves his opportunity. Murrell wouldn't 't be my first choice. Hope we go down the route of a younger coach whose been in a good environment or under the tutelage of an effective coach i.e Marhsall, Grix. Wouldn't be surprised to see Scott but i'd say more than likley Finn. Maybe was a longer- term plan to get him some time at Dewsbury and then back to Fax. Maybe Lee Greenwood?
I’m happy for Grix to leave on his own terms and get a crack at working in a full time environment in SL. He deserves it. He came in after Marshall and steadied the ship. He’s certainly done well with the players and budget restrictions he’s had to deal with. Don’t think any of us will forget the semi final day out in Bolton anytime soon!

A bit harsh. I don't think anyone on here "hated" Grix, just put forward their opinion that they thought he had taken the club as far as he could. As I say, just opinions, so don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm sure, in the past, you've criticised a player or a coach yourself, unless of course you're one of those self proclaimed "super fans".
