Can this clown sign a player without saying he’s got one over on other clubs ?
Doesn’t come across like that to me, more he is saying he was in demand so it’s good we got it over the line.

Spot on. It’s the same for the vast majority of contracts, that’s why no other club chairman says things like that.
Saw the Austin interview “Warrington are known as a club that spend loads but never win anything” he seemed astounded that his wage demands were met with such ease
RICHARDS IS SUPERMAN!!!!

Coming from a player that has earned lots and won nothing, quite the insult.

He has a point. He was worth his high wage for about 10 games.

Yep. I think he was very impressive & was a real handful. Got injured & lost confidence & fell off a cliff. I still think we asked him to do too much but I think we were short of another half-back for a while. He's obviously a decent player though.
It is surprising we are willing to spend over the odds on players who are basically 2nd rate & can't get games in Oz or for our competitors.
No wonder the reserves & youngsters are disillusioned & how much better would our reserves be if the money was invested in youth development. Once again the club is going down the road of quick fixes.

We sometimes get comments on the forum from those involved in our youngsters. I get the impression from them that we do invest more than most in our youngsters but bridging the gap between our youngsters & super league level is the nub. Not much doubt though that all clubs rely on quick fixes.

It's wrong to describe us as a club that wins nothing, we do get the occasional Challenge Cup or LLS, I would use that title to describe clubs like Salford, Wakey, Cas or HKR
