Nice as it is to see we’ve won a GP game for a change, I still don’t like it. I just don’t see the need for league games.

I dunno: disappointing result for sure but we actually played pretty well for most of it, I’m not hating on that performance.

We snag a drop goal before FT and everyone’s positive - that’s sport. We should have been too good for KR with the team they had out but we lack some star quality.

All the Blake Austin fans - there you go. Did almost nothing except try to be greedy.

Think Mik, Tom and Cam Smith look a real good cornerstone of that Leeds pack now. Gutted Walters is leaving still. Wondering if we still need +1 big bopper ugly thing in the middle.

You're on your own there. Are you sure you weren't at a different match?

Mik - really - he was terrible tonight, seems untouchable on here

Played pretty well? I came away from that thinking we played abysmally. Opinions and all that I guess.

Not really hit the heights for a while, has he (Mik that is)? Maybe still in the aftermath of surgery?
Seems to be lacking that spark somehow.

Mik is out of form this year compared to what he has been yes - but he is still a handful.

Handling errors from him and Sangare a concern at times but the service they get isn’t always good enough either.

Mik has plenty of credits in the bank he has played for England and carried the Leeds pack for about 3 years.

I don’t think Mik’s lack of form is our biggest issue at the moment.

Losing Walters is a blow. He could be very good.

Is Levi going to make so much difference? not in my opinion, so I would stick with the lads we have who are good at the moment and could be outstanding with regular matches. Also other superleague clubs will be interested and we may lose them. Also they are proud to waer the shirt and that should be encouraged. whereas Levi comes for the money. My worry is we can't seem to be able to develop a good halfback,

That’s fine but then you have to be prepared for oconner and johnson to have some poor games.

9 is a critical position and we are running with a player who has been playing that position for a year and one that has dome catching up to do because he quit the game for 2 years.

I thought Walters was poor last night and against Salford.

Miks just lacking some form, he’ll come good.

I actually think Johnson’s distribution from DH is the best at the club but his 2 years out hasn’t helped him.

He has some quality about him but he doesn’t yet really stamp his mark on games.

RS must know what he’s doing but I do prefer us playing lads in their best positions so Levi coming might get us back into shuffling.

Anyone see that lovely try by Fergus McCormack in the Academy game? He does something like that most weeks good running threat.
