Good move for him, with a big pay day, but really sad to see him go. Fought like hell for Leeds. Top fella. Goodness me we have some recruitment to do...

I`m pleased Rodrigo has gone to Qatar as would hate to see him bang in a few goals against us. Shame about Manning although inevitable he was going to go to Southampton to team up with Martin. We were told 6 signings were already in the bag and as we don`t need to wait for EFL approval it beggars the question why if we have signed 6 we haven`t announced it yet. Desperately need those signings in this week for sure.

No but heard we did well first half. Sinesterra very good and Drameh good. Can’t judge anyone’s performance though really.
Farke sounds a touch concerned about the season start and the clauses in place meaning players have been going out on loan (what the hell has Ortra done!!) He’s asking for time a patience from the fans. He knows we face a huge challenge to get a good squad together. I like his honesty though. Apparently he’s working the player very very hard in training

Saw it from about 65 mins so cant really judge fully as apparently we were half decent first half. Didnt look that good what I saw but again, very early days and cant really base anything off this.
That being said, Ayling again was AWOL on his man marking.

Watched the full 90 and whilst you can`t read too much into preseason with most only training a week I would say the positives were Moore, Drameh, Gray, Bate and Joseph. Negatives Ayling, poor distribution from both keepers, Struijk, Greenwood, James, Shackleton and Bamford. Rutter to me just doesn`t look like a footballer. He looks more like Bambi, no aggression, little strength but does have awareness. Play him out wide and he might do ok. The 19 year old MU centre half had Bamford in his pocket which says it all and Ayling should not be playing first team even though we are in the Championship probably same goes for Struijk and to some extent Cooper.
