Moving onto hopefully a less contentious subject, at least until 4.45pm on Sunday. After the Batley game it will be interesting to see what changes are made - hasn't got limitless options, but will presumably have to shake things up. Wasn't at Batley so can't comment on individual performances but with that scoreline can't just have been one or two having a off day. Looking at those missing last Sunday you'd think Fleming, Pickersgill and Inman would have to come into contention, and Maizen if he's now recallable from Hunslet. It would also be great to hear how Keyes is progressing - seems ridiculous that his absence is being used as a major reason for our slump in form, but fans are given no updates that I've seen about when he might be back.
A game we should be comfortable winners in...good time to test the Pickersgill full back JWH halfback option, surely.Hopefully Lannon back,Fleming was in 17 but only remember him touching the ball once and knocking on.Inman needs to rotate with AOB as bringing Moore back against most people’s wishes clearly didn’t work...
As for the game we should be big winners in this one but maybe that's just me being delusional. To be honest i am struggling to get enthusiastic about this game with how our league form as been this year and it might sound strange but the next 2 games after this one have a bigger significance for me. The game in London next saturday in the 1895 cup semi then playing Sheffield away on a friday night will for me make or break our season.

Squad for Sunday now out, and the only change is Maizen coming in for Tibbs.
As for the team itself, I'd have Lannon, Inman, Maizen, Pickersgill and Murray replace Tibbs, Salty, Wood, Moore and Fleming ....... trying Woodburn Hall in the halves.

Prediction: Fax 44 Newcastle 12.
More or less what I said/thought.You're one back short so Salty stays for me and i'd try Kav in centres. He needs space to get going and he'd suit centre and sure up that defensive area.Never a fan of Fleming but he certainly looks the part and needs a proper run to see if there was any justification in him being here.
