It was a lazy grab, no malice in it. He did catch him on the chin so the yellow was justified, but if a Hull player saw red or got banned for that I'd be very annoyed.

It should not be a panel review, it should be the ref's call- yellow card = 1 match ban, red card = bigger ban, then we'd have a bit more of a clue how the process works. The biggest laugh of all is that I'd heard Paul Cullen is involved in this; don't know if that is true but he was the personification of the word grub, when playing. Parcell should get a one match ban for knocking out 'ickle Mikey , what a joke that was . Made me chuckle anyway.

Cullen is definitely involved. I recall him being on Sky last year (or maybe year before, I forget) trying to explain how it all worked. I think I ended up more confused.
It's probably all changed since then, especially as this year's bans bear no resemblance to last year's.

I'm surprised SKD escaped without a ban as whilst I think it was worthy of a yellow and nothing more based on bans handed out this year for direct contact with the head, this is just another that highlights the inconsistency in the MRP as other players have done very similar and yet got 1 match ban. There is simply no transparency in the system and it just seems to differ one week to the next and depending on who is sitting on the panel that particular week.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The coach didn't know if it was his leg or his head, probably his head, seems to have got a bit big lately

It was Jez Litten not Parcell but I agree. It was hilarious

Served the petulant grub right.

He should be penalised far more than he is for second effort in the tackle. Not sure how he gets away with it all the time?

The more you watch the more it looks as though Lewis is actually trying to headbutt Taylor when you look at the way he moves his head so far back and to the left, its not the sort of movement you see when players are trying to get up quickly.

Each match is watched in full by a member of the disciplinary panel to identify any incidents which are then considered by the panel on the Monday morning.

The panel is made up of up to four members of the full panel who are currently

Paul Cullen (chair)
Paul Dixon
Nathan McAvoy
Phil Vievers
Jerome Guisset
Steve Presley

Always great to win the Derby.

Thought we were poor compared with recent performances, but Rovers were awful. However, we improved in the second half and fully deserved our win.

As we continue to sort our squad we really need to improve our discipline. We must give away the most Set Restarts in the league; and we need to cut out our PTB errors.

It’s great to see our player’s improving. Darnell has been improving each week and a great off load by Cam Scott to Swifty. Loved the cry of ‘Forward’ from their East Stand despite Swift receiving it a yard behind Scott.

I think we have a real chance of making the 6th place, which would be quite an achievement from were we where at Easter.

I think Rovers season is over. If they manage to beat Wigan, their record 50-0 Wembley defeat could be under threat. Regardless, I think we’ll finish above them this season, which wouldn’t be an achievement but just funny considering all the noise that came out of East Hull during their 7 week ‘Golden Era’ in March/April

I dunno, the way things are being penalised and clamped down on with head contact, I'm surprised nothing more has happened.

I thought he'd get a game ban.

Haven't had the courage to watch the game back again though
