Ref got the call right with scrum incident. If you go on sky sports website and watch highlights you can see the Salford hooker dive feet first through the scrum which collapsed it. Dangerous play for me. As for the afters, not sure what went on. Looked like one of the Salford players said something and 2 Leeds players reacted.
Good defence from Leeds, all tries conceded from Kicks so open play defence very good but kick defence an area for improvement.

absolutely right on the scrum incident, video at the bottom of the sky game page https://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/ ... port/58360 much pushing and shoving but I cant see any punches thrown and with only yellow cards given, neither could the officials

Best win of the season given what was at stake. Sezer was great. Nothing flash but really held us together. O'Connor and Bentley also stood out for me. If we beat KR on Friday we can have a week off and play without pressure at Saints. Reckon 6 wins from the last 9 games will get us in the play offs. Tough but achievable.

Salford player kicks Leeds player as they are separating from scrum, Leeds player i assume oledski then reacts and it all kicks off.

Massive win today. For me it was season over if Salford had beaten us. A couple of things still worrying me after today. Firstly, our forwards seem unable to get us off our line when we’re under the cosh. Oh for a Kyle Leuluai that gives you those 10 clearing yards every time. I still don’t think our pack is big enough our nasty enough to be honest. Thought Lisone was back to average again today. Secondly, we really do seem to run up our own arses at times when we’re attacking. Lack of width and flair in that 2nd half again today. The big positive was the attitude to hang in there in that first half under so much pressure. Salford will feel a little unlucky out scoring us 3 tries to 2, but the scoreboard is what matters. Bring on KR.

Agree with that and that sezer was MoM. He really stepped up and read a Couple of kicks very well near our line.
Handley very good, McDonald ran strongly but struggled with Lafai in defence.
Salford ball movement was very good but as Leeds owl said we produced a stodgy away display again with the ball. A lot of one man out from a standing start.
Game looked to be going away from us second half but we hung in and got a key win. They missed a few goal kicks and the Snead drop out straight into touch have us the key penalty to win it. As you say all there 3 tries from kicks and given Roberts never came on, Donaldson failed HiA and oledski sin bin they grafted it out Thought ref made a few odd calls both ways, both teams lost a clear advantage call. I thought Salford got away with plenty of offside and lying on more than us but I am biased.
Ultimately we won because they missed a few goal kicks and we stayed in the game.
