Ruan, Tindall and Edgehill all playing for the reserves so either Roberts or Hooley will play tomorrow. Hope Hooley gets another shot, even if it's off the bench.

It’s not forecast to be blowing a hooley tomorrow. Time to give him another chance (off the bench)

It worked okay for Marcus St Hilaire. It was more to give Hooley another run out in the second half if the game was going well to see what he can do in better conditions. Assuming we start Myler at 1 and CJ at 6 then Hooley can replace Myler. Myler can cover half if needed. CJ can cover hooker. Roberts has had a few chances now and was solid last week but nothing special.

Oh yeah I forgot we had Iestyn Harris to move into the halves.
And if the game is tight at half time, we just waste a bench spot as its daft to change your fb in the game especially when the games tight. Other than leeds being 20+ up I don't see a scenario where you'd be comfortable making that change. Either start him or don't bother.
Put it this way, if we're level or close at ht with myler fb and CJ or Smith in the halves and he moved everything round to bring Hooley on in a game we need to win I'd be scratching my head. We don't have the comfort on the table to be experimenting.

I agree. I'm more comfortable with Myler in the halves when partnered by Sezer, so if we're going to play Hooley I'd do it from the start and let Johnson play his accustomed role. We've seen quite a bit of Roberts and in my opinion (leaving aside Olpherts) he's been the least convincing of this years newcomers.
