At the moment the club are obviously exploring recruitment... The problem becomes that these will be daryl signings that another coach may not have wanted... For example Daryl's over reliance on signing more props for a particular style of play which Could tie any new coach's hand if one comes in ... difficult times ahead either way
They are trying for jai Whitbread from Wakefield and Lots of noise over Lachlan fitzgibbon 2nd row from Newcastle knights... No problem with this but then I believe we need To release a prop to counter balance the cap and team imbalance

According to their forum ... He's back in the next couple of weeks and their management rejected the offer ... Wakefield winning last night will delay any acceptance I suspect whilst they still have a chance

This may sound daft, but I think one of our major problems is that money is not a problem!
We have often said on here that we have a great team "on paper", and there's the issue - because we can play fantasy rugby league and just buy players whenever we get in trouble, we don't concentrate on building a team and coaching it to play a certain way. The club's reaction to poor performance is to go out and buy different players, whereas it should be to forensically examine how we're playing, what strengths different players have got, what we want to achieve in different phases of the game, etc.....or as it is otherwise known coaching.
I'll throw something out there - do we need a director of rugby instead of yet more knee jerk buys of players?

What is bizarre was that Powell could do this at cas when he had no money but its completely lost him when a cheque book for any problems became available

I’d be all over Zac Lomax if it were me. Daily Telegraph says he was offered a release last night. He’s been out of form this season, and missing kicks he would normally nail. He got dropped last month. Last season he was great.

Not trolling but the problem with Warrington is what has been wrong with Warrington for as long as i can remember. Ignoring the youth. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making big signings as long as there is a squad to back them up. A squad, not a starting 13. Apart from the odd trophy, Wigan, Saints and Leeds will always be ahead until this is addressed.
