Very good performance last night and fully deserved.
I don`t think Warington were that bad other than lacking ideas near the line.
For me Ratchford and Duffy were very poor and Kasiano was atrocious along with Dudson.
Myler chiming into the line and Austin and Sezer running the show were highlights from the backs.
Not one player let us down tonight.
As mentioned in another thread Austin must get a 2 year contract especially if Sezer is leaving.
Walters is going from strength to strength for sure.

That’s two weeks on the trot now where we’ve really shown what we can do when we hold the ball and play with more intensity. It’s a world away from where we’ve been for almost all of this season and especially the couple of weeks before. Smith really seems to have changed the way we play, much more line speed and intent in defence earns the right to promote the ball more in attack and it’s paying off.

Let’s hope we can keep it going.

Lots have continued to talk about getting a new fb but for all someone like dufty would add pace mylers assists are right up there he's good under the high ball and safe defensively, good communicator too. Fb doesn't come for another year for me.

Indeed. It's about balance. We have 2 running halves and a currently 1 dimensional 9, so having a passer like Myler at full back gives the team much more balance.

Agree. Myler is contracted until end of 2024 and is living with the daughter of our President so Rohan won’t be moving him on early, I’m sure he doesn’t want to anyway.

So he will be here next year and is far better now at FB than in the halves so I can’t see why we would sign a FB yet. Myler is very durable but at end of next season will have played for 17 seasons, that’s a lot of hammer for a small bloke and my guess is he’ll retire. So for mine an FB in 2025 is a better option.

I agree. I think we'll see a couple of forwards and at least 1 half. I doubt we'll see any new backs brought in
