The elephant in the room is the excellent work, effort & money the club have put into the hospitality facilities at Robin Park.
Will it still be a priority going forward? I hope so. It's certainly a unique space in regards to access to the outdoor bits and obviously solely Wigan RL themed. ,

Reliably told that he's already now majority owner more than the known 26% and the more recently 49% quoted. Things are definitely changing at pace, all the day to day running is going back over to the stadium. Also seems to be a whatever you need just get it for the rugby side of things. I could see maybe the Robin park side being, kept for after pre and post game stuff along with training, reserves, academy and women's games. May even get another small stand to make it more appealing for smaller events and athletics, which would fit in. Wouldn't be surprised with more signings maybe one really big one will happen that's been rumoured for some time, they are pulling the stops out for it.

The stadium should be owned jointly and it always should have been the case. I'm glad there has not been a big song and dance made about it and hopefully it's just a starting point of there being a closer relationship, where both clubs and both sets of supporters can feel like it's their home.

Spot on .... It should have always been the case, that would have ended a lot of the crap that's gone on years ago. I supported Latics as a kid and even before Lindsey, fans was always let's say not best mate's. The stick my dad got for saying we was going to rugby at one Latics home game was what started my swing to just rugby, very sad really as I watched both, hopefully in the future things can change.

Choice of beer even sparser than usual; if you don't drink lager... hope things improve on that front, and, of course, that the money goes to the Warriors. And maybe a few more rugby photos on the walls to remind people a rugby league club plays there, rather than the one (?) that exists now, surrounded by about 50 Latics ones? Pretty please?
Be careful not to put 2+2 =5 here
The pop up stands and the Brewdog bar etc had to be removed for other reasons Nothing to do with Danson/Stadium ownership etc.
Let's say people went ahead and didn't do things to Stadium rules and specifications like they should. They had to be removed BEFORE any takeover was agreed

Last year Warriors were given 4 days to move everything Rugby related to Robin Park,as you say things are being moved back Danson cannot spend too much on players because of the cap but he has spent plenty on training facilities and such and will spend a lot more. The guy loves Wigan Rugby and has been in the background for a few years now putting money in. There will be a push to have concerts on the ground now as to increase revenue.

I'll do some digging
I agree it was a bad deal, all I know is that we are to get beer and such sales back to the Warriors coffers I was told this today. Also told he will have bought the rest of the shares by the end of the year and things all Rugby related will improve as the Tics no longer have any power to dictate.
