Friday was outstanding from the pre match burrow stuff to the performance on the field, so ill enjoy that and not get dragged down in here.

Hopefully we can continue the good form on Thursday.

Hope youre well Christopher, good call taking a break. Not for too long I hope as your contributions are always appreciated for their balance.

Don't blame you mate. There's a good deal of name calling and nastiness creeping in. It's bang out of order and would be more suited to twitter. You will be missed. Enjoy the game on Thursday.

The bile written on here 48 hours (or more, God help us) after a loss or poor performance has only become worse over the years. The tendency for people to resort to petty insults if someone disagrees with them has always been here, but sadly there are fewer sensible people posting to balance all the knee-jerkery.

I get that things have been pretty disappointing since 2015 (despite the GF and CC wins, and the GF run last season), and it has become massively frustrating being a Leeds fan in this period.

A lot of the posters on here badly need to learn patience.

The mess we were in after Brian Mac is behind us, and we've moved on from the dark days of Lowes and Sinfield being in charge.

Richard Agar helped steady the team but he obviously hung around a season too long. While Rohan Smith has performed some pretty major surgery to the squad he inherited from Agar, the spine and the big earners are all Agar selections - Myler, Sezer, Austin, Tetevano, Fusitua, Bentley - plus Leeming whose place in the squad hasn't yet been filled to my knowledge.

For me, Rohan Smith has credit in the bank for the GF run and a run of wins against Saints, Wigan, and Catalans this season. Most importantly, (IMO) he's also put faith in a lot of younger players and we've seen the likes of Holroyd, Gannon, O'Connor and Cameron Smith (etc) really improve under his coaching, which is the kind of development we were definitely *not* seeing under Agar and McDermott.

For some reason the match day 17 don't always seem to be 'up for it' against teams that Leeds would be traditionally expected to beat handsomely, leading to some woeful showings recently. I think this has as much to do with the mentality of the players as anything else. Austin clearly wants to give his all for the team, but there are a lot of other big earners coming out of contract at the end of the season. Clearly having a clutch of senior players back from injury showed against Huddersfield too.

After reading the last few pages I’m a bit concerned, this is a forum for all fans of leeds and y’know what I’m sad to see that a valued contributor in Chris feels that he has to take a hiatus. I have tried to let things “flow” and only in very rare circumstances felt the need to step in, this is one of those times.

From this point on, I want anyone who feels that things have overstepped to DM the mods directly, report button is also there for a reason. I will not tolerate this board to slide into the horrid cesspit that is the Leeds bookface page.

Everyone has a right to an opinion, you don’t have the right to use personal abuse to score points and this will be cracked down upon from now on.

Consider this a wake up call with regard to conduct.

Largely in part because very little of the engagement is with those posts, therefore there is more disinclination to post them in the first place. A bit of chicken and egg, granted.

Back to winning ways again ..Not sure if we were actually really good or if Hudds made it look that way, anyroad , 2 points gratefully received,.Flashes of brilliance from Austin and a really good game for Myler. As one poster has mentioned , Hill lucky not to be binned for a late hit on Myler,
Big improvement with discipline and very few errors.

Which is a shame as a negative outlook has engulfed the site.
You can see that from the amount of posts since final whistle on Friday, no where near as many as there would have been if we lost.

There’s some top notch Coaches, CEO’s, rugby directors on here, who have all the answers.
One rule for online posting I use is to only say something you would be prepared to say face to face. Imagine some posters telling a player what they’ve been saying about them on here!!!

I think it`s a fair assumption there will always be a difference of opinion some good some bad.
Deep down we all want the best for our club and sometimes frustration creeps in and words are said in haste.
Those that stick by the club through thick and thin such as Chris are to be admired.
I for one am guilty of blaming Smith usually for poor team selections and sticking with players who clearly in my opinion do not deserve to be playing.
However I would never personally insult anyone who has a different opinion to me.
Insults should never be tolerated and those committing that offence should be suspended for a period of time increased by severity or regularity.
Roll on Thursday.

Insults been going on (and tolerated on here for a long while) not sure why the outrage now?
Nothing ban able been said about Christopher (to my knowledge), but agree a shame he’s bowing out. Can’t imagine him missing it much though tbf!
