TJust heard score; bit late I know. Defeat not unexpected but conditions would have played a big part so dismissal and injuries did not help. Wrong game to bring in new players as Toulouse hammering everybody. Can't accept the long-term value of Walker. Team has got together recently. Gaskell maybe, Walker no. Forwards priority.

Yes, I was hoping to see us give them a game but realistically didn't see much hope of any points from this one, I suspect we also put a lot of energy into the Fax game.
The result will soon be forgotten if we can give Keighley a good hiding at a Odsal.

Important we respond against Keighley and go on another decent run.
With Keighley (H), Widnes (A), Whitehaven (A) and Barrow (H) up next. I think 4 wins should be the aim. Just like Dunning needed to win them 5 games but failed at game 1. Win these 4 (all below us) and we pull away massively from Widnes in 7th and all but secure playoffs.

If everyone is of the mind that we were expected to lose then does that mean we’re expected not to get out of this devision as it will likely be them we face in the play offs at some point?

I don't think promotion is a particularly realistic aim with squad as it stands but things can change quickly, injuries and poor form will also be a factor.

I don't think it's relevant. What happens when we go to an in form, full strength Toulouse side in 30 degree heat in June, doesn't have any effect if we have to play them in October in the play-offs. That same Toulouse side lost to Swinton a few weeks ago.
Remember Toronto smashing everyone by 50 points and everyone just waiting for their promotion party. Until London beat them at Toronto. Last season, everyone just waiting for the Fev/Leigh final. Until Batley turned up.
Fev and Toulouse are the favourites. It will would still have been that case even if we had have won. We just have to concentrate on ourselves, finish as high in the play-offs as possible, and have a decent crack in them.
