A Slow start and silly errors early doors had us looking at a cricket score , but the lads had a real dig and I genuinely thought we had them troubled in that second half ably assisted by Gale who organised the game play very well . A settled team is something that has eluded us for most of the season ,some great players but not all on the field at the same time ( and some poor by the way ) . Thought this was by far the best performance by Atoni in a wakefield shirt .Thoroughly enjoyed the game last night ,lads gave their all and can we really ask for anymore

Pretty good debut for Gale, with a typical try included, without stifling Daggers game too. We just needed to convert some of the line breaks and half chances created by these too.

Great backing from the travelling fans throughout, especially during that 30 minute 2nd half spell, and no crowd trouble as far as I could see.

Not happy about losing but I've come home from East Hull feeling a lot worse following other recent games there.

Sounds quite positive reading these comments. Maybe it is too late now but at least we might have some attacking rugby to look forward to for the rest of the season.

Gale definitely needs to be on the field , he was orchestrating everything in attack which gave the lads the direction they needed . Need to believe and back themselves now and let the ball do the work . Think they’ve been scared to death to make mistakes and it’s really held us back

Just watched highlights. Still can't see how Kendle got an obstruction that led to first try.

Just seen highlights.

Shows Fifita getting binned was a poor decision. Fifita brings KR player down and then lands down on his chest (just like we saw live from behind sticks).

Ref runs in due to KR fans chirping up (from way over in other stand at distance) and only after donplsyers start pushing due to Kendal running in.

There’s no infringement and Fifita claims to ref to have copped one in the face then gets sent for 10. Ref shouldn’t have even been involved in first place.

Shocking that it ultimately took the game away too.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

I don’t think there was one. Other than a KR player randomly throwing his arms about (but not actually obstructed). That led to the first try too.

He still held him round the neck to drop him.

That's how I saw it too, although haven't seen the video.
Have they shown the "push" that stopped a break and likely try for us early in the first half ?

I would like to be pleased with a positive performance but how on earth the coach can justify picking Liam Hood is beyond me, Bowes is far superior in every aspect of the game. Hood is the worst number 9 we have ever had. I would love to hear his explanation for picking him, he is slow, his passes are inaccurate, he looks overweight, his defence is poor, he literally offers us nothing at all.
