Doesn`t look like that`s going to happen and I reckon he will stay until at least the end of this season.
Article below:

Rohan Smith insists he has no fears over his job security despite Leeds Rhinos' poor run of form.
But Smith stated that he has no concerns about his job and that he has the support of Gary Hetherington to oversee the long-term vision they both have.
"I feel pressure to win every game that I've ever coached," he said. "So whatever else is happening outside of here doesn't change me, I'm doing my best and hungry to win, regardless of results.

"We chat every day about where we're at, form, performance, recruitment, retention, how we do things around the place and that's not dependent on last weekend's results. Those chats happen every day, every couple of days and those chats will continue to be had.

"For sure, Gary and I talk a lot and are aligned with what we're trying to create here. There's no issues there. There's always pressure in coaching but no more than I put on myself."
That said, Smith was happy to acknowledge the need to turn around the club's current run of form.

"Massively. Every week we prepare to play this weekend, we're not preparing for the future. The decisions we make on roster and retention and whether kids are playing reserves or going out on loan, they're longer-term decisions but the preparation each day and week is about this weekend."

I agree it's a longer term project, but, the coach has to get the club moving positively in the right direction in the meantime as it creates good foundations and keeps the right mentality around the place. You cannot keep looking to the long term and forget about the short and medium term. LUFC have just learnt that at great cost.

Thing is he uses the same tired lines all the time and people can just see through the bull now.

The coach will change if Gawwy starts copping consistent flack which he is.

Lose tonight and its curtains for Smith as the crowd has already soured and it'll be a bloodbath after the game.

Id be really surprised if he gets sacked if we lose tonight, unless we go down by 50 points.

Be interesting to see what sort of side he picks. I said last week he went conservative. The squad had Sinfield and Hooley and I reckon he was going to pick one or both of them, but then started to worry about losing and went for the experienced players - who failed again. Now he's stuck, as he didn't give them a run out and this is an even more high pressure game. I think he'll go as close as he can to players in their natural positions at least, and I wouldn't be surprised if both miss out again (although he may go with Sinfield for Johnson on the bench?).

The answer is in the terminology. I’m a ‘supporter’ which means that’s what I’ll do, whether winning Grand Finals or fighting relegation. Getting angry about it doesn’t really help anyone. It doesn’t actually make that much difference to my personal life, what the outcome is per season. There’s enough enjoyment there……
