Don't watch much SL so can't say I've seen him play. Some good YouTube highlights but we know how misleading they can be. He should hopefully add some quality and competition to the backbone. He looks like he has enough size to make good yardage similar to Blackmore.

You won't want to lose too many in one go. The Championship is a tough competition and as we found out, if you don't bounce straight back up you'll be there for the foreseeable. Although you will obviously need to cut your cloth accordingly, it will good to get another West Yorkshire clash on the calendar.

Sounds like his time at Wakefield has been a bit of a failure. Could be down to a number of things. You’d hope a guy with so many appearances in the NRL would be a stand out in the championship but we will see.

Feel for DFJ who i assume would miss out with Blackmore making more metres than him carting the ball out and going well. At least he’s not playing second fiddle to an underwhelming dual reg player.

Competition for places should bring the best out of all concerned.

He's done nothing at Wakefield this season, but then not many of their players have I guess. Plus he's now playing in the champ rather than SL so I'd hope to see a bit more impact.
Hopefully he's more Keith Lulia than Dane Nielsen!

I had same feeling about DFJ, kind of player who gives 100% in every game and deserves a run in the team. However, in harsh reality he does have a number of flaws including being awfully exposed under the high ball as has been proven several times in recent weeks and if Taufua proves to be more impactful then that should be the main priority.

Wakey fans don't seem upset to lose these two and I have to admit I'm really not liking the idea of Gaskell back in RAB, but if it helps us against the better sides then so be it.
