In comparison to the tackle that could have broken someone’s neck, paralysed them or worse then yes.

Certainly be interesting to know what was actually said as to the questioning of Kendals integrity.

For me both were wrong as Griffin should have bitten his lip and gone in for half time and Kendal should have been able to handle a clearly frustrated player and have the ability to de escalate rather than escalate the situation.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

All the talk around player safety in recent years. Bringing in the HIA protocol, lengthening the amount of days you need to miss if you fail your HIA. Trialing tackling below the armpits. A large number of ex players looking to go to court over head injuries sustained.
All this, plus likely more, and in a week where we have seen one of the worst tackles seen on a pitch for a long long time, the RFL have still judged swearing at a ref to be a more serious event.

It's really hard to say whether 7 games is justified or not because we'll never find out what was said.
It just highlights another issue the game has, there is very little trust in the officials by the fans.
The MRP often seems opaque and the decisions arbitrary.

"I hope we get to the bottom of the answer"

Yeah cause Houghton is like lightning isn't he

Houghton will be a legend for tackle 52

But I also think we could of had so much better

Hodgson clark and roby far better than him for starters put them in 2016/17 side we win everything

Attack starts at dummy half people forget that

The same clark that has played for GB/England linked with NRL

Houghton done neither nor got close

Makes me laugh how people wonder why we don't improve

But we're not gunna improve with likes of Houghton, fash, cator, Lane in our 17 every season

People bang on about fash but if we had a chance we'd swap him for walmsley, Lees, Knowles, Vaughan etc every day of the week

I’d agree as I’d even say O’Donnels makes the Will Pryce tackle last season tame in comparison.

Surely the RFL when advocating player safety have to admit that either Griffins ban is harsh or O’Donnels is very lenient.
