I've had a look for the comments attributed to Josh McGuire's father but can't seem to find them. A link to them would be useful ....

I reckon we mustn't get over excited by ifs/maybe/he said etc. ... the club will carry on without losing any management and without knowing everything why get your knickers in a twist.
The world goes on & we have lost a pretty average forward who was more trouble than he was worth.
Move on eh. Game today.

His dad turning out to be a crying weapon is hardly a surprise is it? Good riddance to McGuire. Now move on.

According to this story, his partner posted on Instagram pretty much confirming it. Bad news to hear him being a pally influence on Dufty, Vaughan and Drinkwater. No wonder at least one of them (apparently) wants to leave. They probably all think it's awful here. Maybe not Vaughan given his contract extension, or maybe now he's got buyer's remorse for that!

Or, maybe, they are mates but think he is a total idiot who brought it all on himself…

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

He left on friday. Had all been agreed by Wednesday evening. No idea why it's taken so long for the club to let the fans know. They are so out of touch with the fans at times.

No, with you there. There are some outlandish allegations made against the club in that post however, that reflect really badly on the club. They could easily take legal action if they considered them not to be true. It's going to be interesting to see how Warrington respond, if they do at all.

The allegation that McGuire played with head knocks and was told not to report them is scandalous in this day and age and with the heightened awareness of concussion issues and long term damage caused. Also, him having no feeling in his hand from a shoulder injury the club refused to scan in case they found an injury is a big allegation. Having seen how well Warrington treat the junior academy players at the club, I highly doubt there is any less focus on welfare in the first team. The suggestion that the club was unprofessional in not sending through the players supporting statements to the tribunal is something club will be unhappy about if not true as well.

I don't think this is over either. There will be a lot said once McGuire gets back to Australia no doubt.

Garbage accusations that the club won’t waste time responding to. Saddened also knows they’re garbage but can’t contain his veiled glee in repeating them. Pathetic. Suppose it keeps the idiot off the RFL conspiracy though which weirdly seems to have died a death since an upturn in saints’ form.
