Thought we would get battered in the forwards but fair play lads you stood up to their pack well today and everyone grafted for one another. Didn't think we had enough to win today but so glad to be proven wrong

We seem to have Warrington’s number at the minute. Higher intensity but smaller forwards seems to be their undoing.
Even with a man extra a couple of their big bodies looked spent part way through the first half. We ran that inside ball over and again, like we did away at their place and we targeted Vaughan and it worked again. When we’ve spoke on here about needing more ‘size’, it isn’t just about size. You need size, of course you do, but they need to be fit and athletic as well. Saints have a great balance between size, power and athleticism but Wire seem to have too many big blokes, who lack athleticism.

Sadly we can’t measure ourselves against Warrington’s pack, we just get mullered against this Saints and Catalans pack at the minute because we need another 3 Havard’s. Seems that we are a Cup team with the right draw but no real chance of the Grand Final for a while.

As a neutral I thoroughly enjoyed that game and full credit to you for winning with 12 men. Warrington were terrible thanks to the way you defended and put them under pressure. Have to say I`ve been impressed with O`Neil and Havard and think Hill looks good too along with the other young forward you have who played against us ( Leeds) recently ? Mesemba probably got that wrong. Cust almost gave the momentum back to Warrington when he came on and I`m not sure Wardle is good enough along with King. And I know he gets some flak from your supporters but I do like Smithies.

It'd be tough on Miski, but French back on the wing and maybe Hampshire in the halves?
Im with you French on the wing but looking at Miski and the way he takes up the ball i would try him in the second row he is abig unit and has a bit of pace.

I take the point generally but "with the right draw" is underselling us a little.

I try and stay level headed (maybe a little too positive for some) and I understand that we’ve been poop at times this season but we’ve pulled out some big wins this year so I will always hold out hope we can win silverware this year (injury dependant).

And then, at the last minute, I poked my head out of the front door, and thought, it doesn't *look* like it's going to rain in the near future. So I grabbed the car keys and set off. And was late. And took my seat just in time to see the red card brandished! Of course, now, I'm so pleased I did. And I got back to the car just in time to avoid a soaking, too!
I was the same, my wife was working and I had a 2 year old and a 5 year old at a 5 year olds birthday party and just thought “love it I’m going”. My 2 year old daughter (on her first game), although not a clue what was going on loved it and clapped all game, it will stick in my memory forever that game.

Cherish the memory Craig. A fantastic day for you and your daughter. It’s what life’s about.
