The players and coaches cannot win though, as a coach if you say anything= fine, if a player says anything fine and ban. Officials are bulletproof no matter how incompetent/bent they are. Kendell will be free to ruin another game next week and then repeat.
I take it you have never played the game. If you had you would know that in rugby of both codes you just don't chat back to the ref. That's not the ref spoiling the game that's the players. Shut up and move on.
Doing it after the hooter is just showing the IQ of a turkey.
We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.
Of course dispaointed to go out but some really promising signs with our team spirit and work ethic and liked that Hoy was unpredictable in attack.
We all know there are limits to what this squad can do, some just arent top6 players while theres salary cap (such as Shaul) just wasted sat in the stands. Im confident Smith is getting things in place for a better 2024, but what signings we make is of course key.

I have played the game to a decent standard, which is why I stated it was no excuse for griffin and its something that could have waited until after the game if he wanted clarity on certain decisions.
You're on a hull forum telling people to shut up and move on? How about if you don't like it shut up and bugger off to redvee, Wellens in this week I take it?

I'd never tell anyone here to shut up and move on. I was talking about players shutting up and moving on.

Did you say the same about your club slagging refs? Alibert & Hicks in particular.

Then my apologies, I misinterpreted what you meant. FWIW I agree Griffin should have just kept his mouth shut, cost us the game.
It doesn't hide the fact that Kendall is an absolutely appalling excuse for a RL official, but will be free to officiate next week despite his constant incompetence.

Just watching a rerun of the game and the Fash and Griffin incidents. Peacock and Wilkin practically frothing at the mouth saying Fash was an intentional shoulder to the head Fash is in the tackle and has his arms trapped in the tackle and Percival has a hold of Fash. They go down in the tackle and Fash seems to simply land on Percival and there’s not a lot a player can do in that as he couldn’t go anywhere.
As for Griffin it doesn’t look like he said an awful lot, Kendal couldn’t get his cards out quick enough. Not excusing Griffin but think Kendal has handled the situation poorly as could have just told Griffin to shut up, take halftime to calm down as Kendal does enough coaching during a game.
Even the penalty against Cator for a trip seemed very harsh as you see that nearly every week when player are stepping across to make a tackle.
It’s almost as though Kendal has a god complex.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

They may or may not have been correct calls but even so it's a notable stat.
Don't know if we'd have won with 13 on the pitch or not. I do think Kendall is a poor ref amongst others officiating in Super League. It is what it is and we've got what we've got. It's gonna be difficult for many to keep enthused now that we've relatively got very little to play for, 8th, 9th, 10th? Hope we can positively recruit for next year to give us something to look forward too.
