A couple of things from yesterdays game, firstly the ref gave penalties on two occassions for ripping out on the last tackle. There is no way a player is going to rip on the last tackle, referees can be so naive at times. Secondly I think any interference at the ptb on the first tackle should be a penalty not a 6 again. Players risk this as there is not much to lose on a 6 again on the 1st tackle.

Just watched the full match back and have to say a stand out for me was Thompson & DFJ chasing down the London centre to stop a length of field try. Outstanding effort especially from Bodene.

Really hope the reports of him leaving aren't true as that kind of effort should be a huge inspiration to the rest of the team.

Think Thompson has come in for a lot of unwarranted criticism on Facebook. IMO he's shown more commitment than a lot of other players in recent history.

I agree. He's been a very handy pick up and a definite improvement on what we've had in previous years. Will be a shame to lose him if he does head back home.

also Blackmore ... hes not going to go the length of the field but what he does (from what ive seen) bosses his opposite winger and the amount of work he does to relieve forwards has been priceless (makes yardage after contact)

thoughts on Segeyaro? ... watching the game back, looks like he slotted in seamlessly ... also watched his after game interview, he likes talking ... another onfield marshall?
