I seem to remember you guys bringing circa 2000 some times back in the day? Particularly non Good Friday games?
Win a couple of games, gat a few back from injury and diabolical should never have been suspensions and all of a sudden some people start getting a bit vocal.

I can see the above now intimates that Wigan fans are not selling out because we don't think we can win?
I'll be there, after shelling out circa £600 over the month of May for 2 away trips to Hull Thursdays nights, Leeds away challenge cup and inc Magic weekend, £1000 if you include Catalans away flights and Hotels paid for last month and that's for me only, God forbid what some families etc have had to shell out.

Anyway I'm sure it is all down to most fans thinking we can't win etc.

Edit

Plus 60/70 today for ticket coach and scoops
Probably 50ish again next weekend for a Challenge cup all pay game
And again week after for Salford ticket/coach away game

Thank God there's no cost of living crisis, or practically 2months without a real home game

Why do you have to be so argumentative? I bet you are a hoot at parties. Wind your neck in.

I'm also the guy that offered to help your lad with his podcast through my contact at Wigan. I posted it on the thread and you blatantly ignored it..

Anyway, suddenly getting a bit vocal? I've made no predictions about the game nor made any arrogant comments. I've simply aired the fact that I'm surprised you haven't sold the away end out.

Yes we don't always sell the away end out at the DW but if we bring 3k in a 5.5k allocation then that's a great effort and would fill the away stand at Saints. I don't recall us bringing less than 3k for a long time even last Sept when we had a lot of injuries and most Saints fans knew you would beat us.

You don't remember bringing less than 3 thousand for a "long time". Would this "long time" coincide with your winning the last 4 titles by any chance? I remember lots of poor Saints crowds over the years. I'm pretty sure you've discussed plenty over on Redvee relatively recently.

What people are reacting to here is your "willy measuring". If you'd taken even a cursory look at our fixture list recently you'd realise that taking a couple thousand over to your place after the month we've had as supporters is actually quite a good effort. Doubly so given we go into it still decimated in the forwards, on the back of some very poor form and against an all but full strength Saints team.

Even Matt Peet alluded to this very thing recently, which I have little doubt you'd have seen.

Its not "willy measuring" at all. All supporters are struggling with a cost of living crisis and others go through similar patches of away games.

Just off the top off my head we haven't had a home game since Salford. We've had Halifax A then Leeds A then Magic Weekend. That's off the back of taking the most ever fans to Catalans.

Your arguments are getting weirder and weirder Stu. Are yo sure you're not spending too long on Redvee?

As for "the rest" of our fans, I'm pretty sure there'll be a couple thousand there. I could be wrong of course as "the rest" of us apparently aren't going. Enjoy yourself on your own in the away end Jason. It seems you'll have lots of room.

Thanks Phuzzy I will try to enjoy myself,3 of us are going so at least I will have company sitting in the empty corner of the Stadium.

You've put tiny little, subtle bits in like us not selling out our "Tiny allocation" & " clearly the rest of our fans don't seem as positive as you Jason, still not sold out a 3k away allocation yet" intimating were not selling out because we don't think we can win
So you didn't just say "A bit surprised you haven't sold out your allocation" you said it with little digs in there.

Plenty times you guys have brought less than 3k pre.covid on non GF games.

That's fine
But not happy when someone has a little one back ?
Just sticking up for my club and fans Stu

As far me "Blatantly ignoring" your post, I didn't
I apologise as I may have been rude not to thank you for your offer but i didn't blatantly ignore it. Thousands of things to do, very busy, didn't respond at the time and slipped my mind
Your offer was very much appreciated and at some point I'm sure I will contact/message to ask if it's possible.

Forgive me as I don't need to "Wind my neck in", just having a bit of a dig back, is that OK?
Or is it like Redvee were only Saints opinions are allowed?

80 plus of us coming on Stormin Norman's Fun Bus

Its going to be packed at the away end, shame they haven't got a bigger Stadium
Then again, they've not sold out the Home end

Do me a favour Stu! Don't make some clear cut "willy measuring" posts and then claim they weren't meant that way! Read your own posts and point out which ones (prior to this) weren't critical or included any understanding whatsoever. There literally are none!

I've noticed a distinct change in the tone of your posts recently, and not for the better. Shame that, but hey ho!

Hi Stu,
Its not willy measuring at all you said, then you go on to say Saints took the most ever fans to Catalan.
Can we not see how many turn up first.

Good luck for tonight may the best team win.
Cant wait.

The 6 of us will try not to obscure your view too much! Maybe we can organise a game of touch rugby in all that space. 4 a side plus 1 to retrieve the ball?
