With the Sezer injury being long term, I’d rather give Hooley a run with myler in the halves. Let’s Johnson continue to get game time in his proper position.
Having said that, maybe we make do this week then sinfield gets a run for the next few games.
Agreed. If Tindall was by far the better player then he should be picked even if he is leaving. But he's not, he's an OK reserve winger. I see no point in picking him ahead of someone who will be here next season and would benefit from the experience.

I wouldn't say coming in cold, in atrocious conditions in a game where we were absolute pony is quite "F'd it" personally. Hes going to have to have a solid game though to come into contention for a run in the side however.

Hooley was bought to be given the chance to move up a level , he needs more than one game to see how he goes . Mylet to scrum half as that’s what he is , if not very reliable one .

The more I see of Tindall, the less I think he has what it takes to make it as a SL winger. He's just not athletic or big enough. I have no idea what his finishing skills are like because he is rarely in a position in which he looks like scoring. The try against Wigan was very much scored when the game was gone, although he took it well. We've let players go who have shown more in the first team, e.g. Broadbent - and look at how Briscoe is going at Leigh (no, I don't want him back).
Leeds need players who are capable of much more strike in the backs - solid is not good enough in this position if we want to get back to the top. Younger wingers ought to be making try scoring break throughs like Cummins, BJB, Hardaker, Calderwood, Hall etc. Handley was scoring regularly at the start of his career too, even though he was in several relegation faced teams.
Tindall's strike rate isn't just about finishing, its also about getting himself into positions where he can score, even if it means coming infield. All the best wingers have that hunger to score tries, and his record suggests he just doesn't. Roberts may not be as good as a genuine wing, but he can also play centre.
Smith signed both Hooley and Roberts - if they don't get picked when we're down to the bones you'd have to wonder what the point was? Personally I'd like nothing more than to see Hooley play and have a blinder, just because I think the stick he got from the KR game was really harsh on someone who wasn't match fit, played in a team that gave him no protection, and in horrible conditions. He had a mare, but so did a few others.
