The more i think about this statement the more i'm sure he's selling otherwise he'd say he's staying, surely !?.
How can he afford to buy Sampdoria and still own Leeds ? That simply will not wash with the fans and he barely had enough money to get us promotion last time.. i wonder if he's negotiation to retain a lower % for next season, then sell at the end of that. The 49ers have also been very quiet, which suggests to me they are deep in confidential negotiations.
The non footballing side at Leeds needs a radical shake up. The marketing and commercial side of the club is a shambles when compared to the top PL clubs. Add to that the pityful state of the ground - apart from where the directors sit - it doesn't reflect well on the club. To say the club can't afford the improvements is rubbish - they just spent £35m on a 21 year old who they don't want to play. Small mindedness is rife through the club. Its ambition was Europe in 5 years time - no wonder it was relegated with such a weak overall strategy.
A new CEO is needed with vision, drive and a strategic mind with an appropriate skill set to drive the non-football side of the business in line with the best in class in the PL. It behaves like a Championship club - it is now a Championship club

again david, do your homework. leeds off field sales such as merchandise, shirt sales, sponsorship etc is up there with all but the really big hitters. its equal to clubs like spurs. kinnear has done a decent job in that respect. there turnover is impressive for a club where they are. the ground is a mess. I'd build a new one behind it on the old training ground.
According to the Athletic, Radz tried to use Elland Road as collateral to secure a loan to buy Sampdoria. That's the final bridge burned for me, get him out!
Thankfully, it doesn't seem like the loan went through and the funds were secured by other means. However, the Leeds board, including Kinnear, the 49ers, and even the Aser CEO weren't told.

just read it. what a snake. if the buy out goes through I'd want the stadium included or I'd build a new one. leave him with it. surely he is done at leeds now. I'm guessing the Americans 'accidently' leaked it
The supporters Trust have complained to LCC, as the ground is classed as a community asset and can't be sold without consultation with community groups.

Graham - we must agree to disagree - Leeds are nowhere near where the likes of Man U, Arsenal, Man C, Liverpool even Newcastle - to think otherwise is delusional. Its like the notion that all clubs raise their game because its Leeds - simply a fixation in the minds of Leeds supporters. Compare the social media activity of the bigger clubs and Leeds and compare the corporate activity its miles away. I work with a business that has corporate at Leeds, Man u and Man c - its is like chalk and cheese the offering. Leeds Rhinos are better at corporate than the football club. Leeds is potentially a huge club but they don't maximise the off the field stuff - its amateur hour.
Leeds generate the 18th highest amount of revenue of all European football teams in 2021/22. And 9th highest in the PL. The top 8 were Man City Liverpool Man utd Chelsea Tottenham Arsenal West Ham Leicester

I was surprised to see Leicester in the top 8. Latest is that Steve Gerrard is favourite to take over. The longer this goes on the worse we as a club are going to be. Is it 7 weeks now until the new season starts and we don`t know who is going to own us, who the DOF or Manager is and which players are leaving or staying.
