If footage shows there's not a punch thrown then how can they possibly give a ban? Sky have multiple cameras from multiple angles and don't seem to have any of the so called 'punch'?
We've also seen multiple times charges against players dismissed by RFL due to "inconclusive footage", so will be interesting to see what happens with this
Sick to death of our luck with injurys, our home grown boys especially, nearly every elite talent we bring through spends more time injured than available, Horlroyd, Newman, Gannon, Simpson, Walker and Ward were the same.
Feel for them, Holroyd's having the first decent injury free run of his career and finally getting a chance to show what a talent he is, hope it continues and the other lads get a bit of luck going forward.

I couldn`t see if a punch was thrown and nor could the Sky cameras. But unless Lomax had started his period early the blood smeared on and around his face probably gives it away.

Again, show me where the punch is? Otherwise more likely to be accidental contact from anything in a tackle or melee? It's not like he's had his nose bust from a punch so seems a bit 2+2=5

I agree mate. Maybe he did start his period early. FWIW Walters probably brought the sledging on himself trying to wind up as many Saints players as he could Sironen especially. No complaints from me with Lomax doing the same back at Walters.

Fair enough on Walters sledging sironen after he tried roughing him up with some shthousery

Apparently the touch judge indicated to the ref that a punch was thrown. On that basis he was sent off. Should imagine they will accept the word of the touch judge. Like many others I never saw a punch thrown, years ago a warning would have been sufficient. Unfortunately in modern rugby you soon get your marching orders.
