Undercooked Wire.
Fatigued after the France win and celebrating.
We play Leigh next week, and that score is flipped.

Leigh scored from every lazy error we made.
Just bed that result as it’s not with studying over and look ahead refreshed after another week.
At least now we have a full week before our game, not just 2 training sessions.

He's 21 now and I'll make a pretty safe prediction that he will never be a first team regular with us and will likely be released come season's end, where he will carve out a career in the championship.

Disagree. He wasn’t giving the ideal canvas to display himself.
His team we’re fatigued and lethargic.

This is one of many posts on here blaming the trip to France for fatigue. Earlier in the season Leigh went to play Catalans on the Saturday, lost a bruising encounter by 14-6, then followed up the following Friday by winning 25-24 at Hull KR.one of the teams of the season.
So I think you could give Leigh a bit more credit especially seeing we matched the 18 point margin you beat us by at H.J.
Hope to meet you in the semi-final!

I didn’t dish Leigh.
I will add on for your satisfaction and my actual opinion.

Amazing effort all season. They’re the fun club that are lighting up the league. I hope they go on to play Wire at Wembley.

But my view, would Leigh have beaten Wire last weekend?…not a chance any current SL team would have. As for last night, the timing was right for Leigh, and a game wire really could have done with an 8/9 day turn around. Not 2 days of training sessions.
Wire will have an 8 day turn around, and I expect a far better showing against the current form team in the league Hull FC.

Been saying for weeks we haven’t been playing wel and have been getting away with it but got told to shut up cause we’re top. Well it caught up with us and more tonight. We were absolutely horrible.

This team is not good enough for honours this season.

I include the coaching staff in that too.

My prediction based on last half dozen performances is this team will win nothing this season and the Powell out thread will be back in full flow.

The centres alone aren’t good enough and we all knew that before a ball was kicked in Feb. The worst in the league in fact. We have one genuine decent centre who Powell picked to sit in the stands last night as Peter Mata’utia appears to be undroppable despite his consistent woeful performances.

If we win a game in the playoffs this season that will be progress. Do I hope for more? Of course I do but I need to be realistic from where we have come from last season. The SL GF this year will be won, as it has in the last 17 years, by Wigan, Saints or Leeds. Not worth getting animated about.
