In fairness Dwyer was extremely lucky it was a ridiculous play.
That sums up why Myler has never been good as the main playmaker. Any halfback worth their salt should take control, get the ball to the middle and have a crack at a drop goal.

Agreed. Even if Myler doesn't take the drop goal himself, at least guide the forwards into position to give someone else the best opportunity.

But the teams been criticised all season for not showing effort in for the whole game or not showing effort at all. This game was full of effort and the reason it’s been praised
