Perhaps there were too many Wire old stagers in that Leigh side with points to prove. We sounded out enthused right from the kick off & the amount of reckless ball we gave away was criminal. Come up against a team on the front foot & we can't deal with it.

We're still light years away from them on their day, both Saints and Wigan still have so much intensity that we just don't seem to be able to muster when it actually counts. Tonight and last night's games showed that.
When you can’t do the basics right, keep hold of the ball complete sets you’re not going to win games. Lots of work for Powell to do. To concede 30 is also a kick in the teeth.

I'm not going to defend the performance tonight as it sounds as though we were poor. But 2 of the 3 games we've lost were backing up after playing catalans away. Once v Wigan and tonight against a leigh side on fire. I'm not making excuses, but It might have had some effect. Oh, and stop the ridiculous twitter videos, they don't help either!!

I couldn't make it tonight...sounds like it was brain fart central. Was is a case of lazy start and then forcing the game to catch up or was it just dross from start to finish. TBH it's the defeat we maybe needed in a strange way Wakefield was a let off and 40 mins of the KR game was poop too.
I do quite like the fact that the team that have come up aren't going straight back down.. having a yo-yo league is boring. I'm also happy that wasn't the case last year!!!!

Not making him a scapegoat at all, but anyone with half an eye for the game can see that Dean is not good enough at this level and has never shown any sign that he is.
He's 21 now and I'll make a pretty safe prediction that he will never be a first team regular with us and will likely be released come season's end, where he will carve out a career in the championship.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....
