Whispers are an underwhelming response domestically to the vacancy and Nobby/Greenwood set to see out the season, with an extended search down under over the next few months for a winter rebuild with a proper plan for the long term, unless someone unexpected comes from left field.

That’s what I’m hearing too. Domestically this job is seen as a poisoned chalice with targets wildly exceeding the paltry budgets on offer

It won't surprise me when Rohan Smith is announced.
He must be aching to come back to finish what he started! I can picture the press conference now: "...dream job ... wonderful owner... underperforming giant ... untapped club potential ... etc. etc...."
I mean, where is the fun managing a successful SL team when you could be experiencing the rollercoaster ride which is the Championship?
