Strange. All the reports have us as winning too. Can't believe they've all got it so wrong. What a bunch of numpties.
Great to get the win after the last 2 weeks, bit of perspective though. We were one selfish decision (by Newman) away from going out.

That's what the other posters mean by constantly negative. You could equally say we were 2 forward passes and a dropped ball by French from winning it far more comfortably. You could equally say we were Harry Smith's kicking boots away from Newman's poor decision not mattering anyway. You could, if you really wanted, credit French's excellent play to deny Newman. You didn't. You chose the negative point of view. Again.

I prefer to focus on what I said earlier in what was undoubtedly obvious that Wardle had his best and most effective game for us or Nsemba stepping up like we need him too. I shouldn’t have forgotten that the clique on here that has driven away so many people over the years pull rank when there’s other views offered.

There's nothing wrong with other views but we've just won a challenge cup tie. It doesn't matter if it's by 1 point or a hundred, if we played well or scraped through or anything in between. Most people on here are fans who want to celebrate after a win. Sure we can comment about good and bad but the unrelentingly negative is just wearisome. When you go to the pub and there's some moaning git who always brings the atmosphere down no one says "well done mate. We needed to hear you whinge, that's what the night was missing" do they? Why do you think it's any different on here? Enjoy the win, mate. Life's too short.

I have enjoyed the win to be fair, I’ve said as much regarding Wardle, Nsemba, French and the second half performance digging in. I don’t like seeing the same errors every week making things more difficult for players in the team who have a high level of consistency and most likely seem to be working harder to improve in training. That’s just my observation on what I see.

Probably so but there is a wealth of forward talent coming through, time to have faith in them.

Just enjoy the win,we lost a week ago to 12 men but managed to win this time. That says we eradicated the errors you mentioned enough to post a win,job done !.

Every game is based on moment and decisions, a knock on, a missed tackle, a bad read, not passing when you should. By the same token as Newman not passing, French took the dummy in the first half (both errors) so they even out.
