So with Dunning sacked it’s Greenwood’s chance to put a marker down for the rest of the season. Swinton are coming off a huge win against Toulouse and will likely see this as a game they can win after seeing our performance.

Do we have any injuries to come back? Or are we stuck with the same side that capitulated at Barrow?

What changes do we make?

Get rid of the 2 half backs for a start along with Johnson and Flannagan, Butler has been garbage for the last month as well he needs dropping as a kick up the booty. Robers has already made too many appearences, he should never be alowed to step foot in the club again

Let's play fantasy Bulls rugby league coach. Using everyone's knowledge of available players (of which there are not that many who are fit), who do we field for Swinton - one of the x5 "must wins" going forward ? Youth / experience (but oldish) / mix ?
Who's the leader ? Never mind all the "leadership group" garbage. Who stands in the middle of the pitch with more guts than Arnie ?

Dunning said wholesale changes. Whether he knew that included him or not we don’t know but the reaction this week at home will speak volumes.

Needs to be some open and honest discussions held. Who wants to play for this club and who doesn’t. I (as I think others) will watch a lower quality side that want to play for the shirt.

If ever there was a game where the opposition will look to get under our skin and test our resolve this is it.

England said yesterday he’s likely to be available. I think Bodene Thompson as well, maybe Appo

In that case:

Walker
Qareqare
Myers
Gill
Blackmore (or Foggin-Johnston)
Patton
Lawford
Baldwinson
Lilley
Rodgers
England
Wallace
Thompson (prefer him at 13 rather than an edge)

Flanagan (needs a performance here)
Scurr
Appo (swap for a middle, not an edge)
Foster (if recovered, if not Turgut)

Butler has been poor for a few weeks so needs dropping for a game. England deserves to show is what he has. Lilley at 9.

Johnson has offered nothing so far this year so Appo back in for him. If Appo isn't ready, Green gets that spot.

After this weekend I would have dropped Myers to get him out of the firing line but we have no replacement so put him with Blackmore (if he’s back). If we have none of our own wingers available then it’s Tindall or no-one.

Baldwinson and Rodgers worked well as starters at the beginning of the season. Lef’s go back to that and try find form.

Myers didn't have a good game did he but he was far from alone. As Highlander mentioned a young kid needs to play in a settled side and he hasn't had that.

Second half defence was abysmal so some players need to be made an example.

It's also time to pick Lawford and bin Patton off.

Not saying he was alone. That’s why I said IF we could bench him for a week. I would have done to take him out of the firing line. This is not the case so put him with our most experienced winger in Blackmore.

With Holmes out. Who you partner Lawford with? Unfortunately I think we have to play Patton to make sure Lilley goes in at 9.
