Both dropped up and unders and yet both Wigan tries were scored on Scott’s wing. His positioning for the second was poor.
Mcintosh ran for over 100m and scored a try.
Neither were perfect and have a lot of room for improvement but only one seems to get criticised?
Just don’t get it.
This is nail on head stuff. McIntosh made a few errors against Wigan. 3 of them weren’t actually errors.
- One, Wigan were offside so technically he gained us a pen lol. But seriously, he would’ve pouched it without the added pressure.
- There was also the interception he knocked on which was a forward pass. Had the pass been spot on he pouches it again.
- Then there was the knockdown that stopped a certain try.
Scott on the other hand dropped a few kicks and had a few errors in his game. It’s understandable as he’s not a natural winger. Darnell also a better finisher, let him play and hopefully find his confidence.
Right now any player who can tackle with 90% plus efficiency would be more effective than lane. When Tex is back we could play litten there for fun. Would make more metres and miss less tackles
If I was TS, I’d be ringing round amateur clubs seeing if they have any lads to replace Jordan lane. But seriously, give Nick Stavely a go. Has played big minutes and a poor side and stood up well. Put his hand up as Prop, Loose, second row and now centre. Should’ve brought him back and given him a go. If he out of his depth then we’re in the same place we started
