I’d say we have two weeks to get a coach in. Ideally need one before Keighley at the Bash. I’d be looking at: McDermott Anderson (if we can pry him from England duties for a few month) Ward Ford (unless he’s waiting to take over Applegarth) I’d even take Noble until the end of the season if he wants it (and we actually perform a proper search for the end of the season).
...before the "global search" results in him being confirmed as the next permanent coach?
That quote was a disaster for the club. It can't be another 10 week interview process. Indentify the person you want, approach him and get him signed up like York did with Henderson.

McDermott would be an improvement but he has just got a job in the NRL so I can't see him wanting to return to the Championship. Ford will likely get the head coaches job at Wakefield in the Championship next season. I'm struggling to think of any decent coaches who are available and would want to apply for the bloody job.

Tbf I thought McDermott had only got a consultancy gig so might be tempted by a coaching one. Whoever it is, needs to be the right one.

Surely not given how irrelevant we are these days?? Although others do still reveal in our struggles which I always find bizarre.
Not sure who we get next or who would even want it. Biggest poisoned chalice in the game unfortunately.

Last year he was assistant at Saints under Woolf wasn’t he? He may be Wellens assistant?
