Although we played well last night and have got a bit of momentum going
There's still alot of players should go regardless of last 2 games feel keeping some of them would just be papering over the cracks
Fash a prime example some fans love him cause he's "hull through and through" but he's not gunna take us to the next level and that's why we don't ever deliver a season challenging at the top

Loved the contribution by Lee Briers on the broadcast team - currently he is an assistant coach at the Brisbane Broncos who currently lead the NRL ladder and he confided that he coached Houghton when he played in an under 9's team. Said even at that age he was a player with loads of energy who never gave up.
Hull Boys club, same team as Craig Hall. Briers did a couple of coaching sessions as he is married to Dave Halls daughter, and Dave was the coach at the time.
I was in the same team. Good times, and correct even then he stood out. Could have been a bit older then under 9’s like but won’t of been far off

I think Josh Hodgson played for East Hull under a young coach called Lee Radford.

Yes, but every team needs players like Fash and Cator. You only have to look at their stats each week to see the amount of work they get through.
Although we do really need some more big forwards to compliment these 2 as the second half last proved when we were struggling to make metres.

I think Josh played in the age group 1 or 2 below, although I am pretty sure Danny played a year above him self anyhow due to development.
He did end up at East Hull, but started at boys club when it was club number 1 in Hull.
RIP brownie, man made it. I only ever park at bonus now in town as a mark of respect to the area and past

However, Lane was dreadful for me. To get a 4 in the HDM ratings in a performance as gritty and determined as it was, is embarrassing for him. His tackling, grabbing and failure to make yards is really poor. Savelio, even though it looks like he might be leaving, has to play next week instead of Lane. My team for next week if fitness news is correct:
Hoy Litten Carlos Sutcliffe Swift Trueman Clifford Sao Houghton Fash Griffin Savelio Cator
Satae Taylor Dwyer Scott (Back row and backs)
Houghton back on the bench for this one Dwyer starting Think Savelio is a non starter but we need a replacement for Lane. Like to see Carlos given a run in the second row then we can move Scott into the centre
