Wakey have long been a bit of a banana skin for us, and Sod’s Law they’ll show up like Melbourne Storm next week. Think last time we really piled it on them was when Rich Whiting managed to break down the wing and go the length. Even he looked shocked no one had caught him.
All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason. -Emmitt Smith

Respectfully I'd disagree, I think we were definitely fighting relegation, until the last two games. In two home games, against Rovers and Salford, we shipped 100 points, scoring only 14 in return, we had lost 7 games on the spin, as we all know. Had Smith been unable to turn this around, with pressure mounting and the inevitable Wakefield resurgence, we were right in it. I do agree with some a lot of comments about the coming fixture, win that and I'd say we are safe.

Seemingly a bit more of a fight from Wakefield last night, the Proctor red card not helping their cause. A different challenge for Hull next week, the last couple of games have seen us as the underdog. Be interesting to see how they go with the favourites tag again. Still a massive game IMO.
