Wakey have long been a bit of a banana skin for us, and Sod’s Law they’ll show up like Melbourne Storm next week. Think last time we really piled it on them was when Rich Whiting managed to break down the wing and go the length. Even he looked shocked no one had caught him.

Vaguely remember Sam Moa doing something similar until his legs gave up about 20 meters from the line

Respectfully I'd disagree, I think we were definitely fighting relegation, until the last two games.
In two home games, against Rovers and Salford, we shipped 100 points, scoring only 14 in return, we had lost 7 games on the spin, as we all know. Had Smith been unable to turn this around, with pressure mounting and the inevitable Wakefield resurgence, we were right in it. I do agree with some a lot of comments about the coming fixture, win that and I'd say we are safe.

I was there and remember it well, looked like he was running in quicksand god knows how he made it!

Seemingly a bit more of a fight from Wakefield last night, the Proctor red card not helping their cause. A different challenge for Hull next week, the last couple of games have seen us as the underdog. Be interesting to see how they go with the favourites tag again. Still a massive game IMO.

Found the highlights on YouTube, he even broke away again but offloaded at the first sign of trouble

That white, blue, and gold away strip is one of our better efforts from over the years.

Think Wakefield are done, any team that is relying on Luke Gale being their saviour deserves to go down.

Cas 32-6 down after 35 mins... looking like a two horse race for relegation
