Well worth rising at the crack of dawn to watch this match. My man of the match was Houghton with over 50 tackles including the try saver on French. His positioning to be where he was to affect the tackle was superb.
Loved the contribution by Lee Briers on the broadcast team - currently he is an assistant coach at the Brisbane Broncos who currently lead the NRL ladder and he confided that he coached Houghton when he played in an under 9's team. Said even at that age he was a player with loads of energy who never gave up.

Houghton benefitting not playing every minute of every game, he even got a five minute breather last night but we needed him. Tag benefitting from any injury free run looks like his old self, Sutcliffe great signing, Clifford best game for me apart from a few kicks, Cam Scott maturing by the week, Griffin has been very good in 2nd row this season IMO. Big Chris and Ligi getting better by the week as is Carlos now he's getting fully fit. Litten very good again think he will go to the wing when Hoy back tough decision for Smith tbh. Trueman great play at the end to sacrifice himself. Cator and Fash outstanding workloads like always.
